CHARING

Charing with company
This is the earliest known photo of Charing (sitting), taken approximately in the late 1920's. She could be no more than 16 years old. According to her son, Chito, she kept a scrapbook of photos and memorabilia. But alas, when Chito and his brother Willie were young, they used most of it to cut out toy planes and boats.
Her companion could be her sister but since they don't bear any striking resemblance, except for the clothes and hair, most likely she was a close friend or classmate.
