She was suppose to be named Emilia after her Uncle Emilio. But her mother, Irene, dreaded calling the little girl Milia, so the name Emily was given instead, still derived from the name Emilio.

Miling & Bongga
Miling with her firstborn son Bongga. Miling have a knack of nicknaming everyone in the family. Sad to say most of it stuck even when the kids are all grown up.
Bongga's real name is Cris Irvin Solangon Calditera. When Bongga was just a
baby, he cries very loudly and so his nickname was derived from the Ilocano word "bunggaok", meaning crying very loud.

Miling and Family
Tokneneng, Miling, Borot, Bongga and Santing. Borot's real name is Jermaine Emil Solangon Calditera. Again, there is a story behind the nickname, but we can't tell that here.

Tokneneng
The only daughter of Miling and Santing. Her real name is Leigh Gem Gittel Solangon Calditera. She was originally nicknamed Neneng, but somehow, it turned into "Tokneneng."
